- New Year’s Family Fun Races – Postponed December 30, 2014All, We are sorry to have to postpone the Ford Sayre Family races that were scheduled for New Year’s Day. The snow has not been cooperative and we’ve all agreed that it won’t be as much fun to have the family races on crusty ice! Stay tuned. We’ll try to find another date for the event. Thanks to Jonathan Chipman for holding two waxing clinics in the last few weeks. We will try to hold a few more over the season. If you are interested in learning more about waxing skis, Omer and Bob’s will have a clinic on Jan 2nd, at 6:30pm. Go to their site for more information about this great opportunity. Cheers and cross your fingers for snow! Ashley & PeterContinue reading →
- Nordic Survey – Tell Us How It’s Going! December 30, 2014
All,
Ford Sayre Nordic is dedicated to continuously improving its programs. To that end, each season we ask our families to complete surveys at different points in the season so we know how it’s going for you and your children. We don’t want to wait until the end of the season to hear what you think!
We would appreciate your taking a few moments over the holiday to complete the survey below and sharing your thoughts with us.
You can access the survey here or copy and paste this link:

Hello 1-day a week BKL families,
We are planning to have an OPTIONAL practice on Tuesday, December 23rd.
Location: Garipay Field Time: 3:30-4:30 Technique: Classic Upcoming Events: Ford Sayre New Year’s Day Ski at Thetford Academy on January 1, 2015 at 1pm. Notes:
- The forecast calls for warm weather and light rain on Tuesday, so please send your children in waterproof outer layers!
- Given the potentially wet forecast, we will NOT be having hot chocolate after practice.
- Last week your child should have gone home with a Ford Sayre buff – if you didn’t get one, please let your child’s coach (or me) know and we’ll make sure your child receives one.
- We are at the darkest practice of the year – so please make sure you are present to pick your children up by 4:30. Also, please remember to sign-in and sign-out your child with one of our coaches or volunteers!
- I added a pair of adult ski poles to my “Lost and Found” last week – if your poles are missing, send me a quick note and I’ll let you know if we have a match.
