The Ford Sayre Alpine Hiring Committee is thrilled to announce that Kate Anderson will be the new Alpine Head Coach. This is a new role for the Ford Sayre Alpine program and Kate is the ideal match for this leadership position.
Kate is an excellent communicator and thoughtful leader with many years of experience in the world of ski racing, including coaching for the past sixteen years. Kate grew up in a family of ski racers in New Hampshire. Most recently she has co-coached a private PG Program, Quantum Sports International, with her father. Kate is not new to the Upper Valley area, having spent a year as the Alpine Assistant for the Dartmouth Ski Team in 2014. Among her experience traveling and coaching nationally and internationally, Kate is a member of the US Ski and Snowboard Organization’s Task Force on Gender Inclusion. She is also a level 200 yoga instructor.
The Alpine Head Coach is a new full-time position which will provide leadership, administrative and coaching continuity across the club’s alpine skiing programs (U8-U18). Kate’s passion, enthusiasm, knowledge, and positive demeanor will be a wonderful addition to our already incredible alpine coaching team and Ford Sayre community.
Kate will start in mid-June and we hope to provide opportunities to introduce you to her soon!
