Ski w/ Ford Sayre families at Mont-Ste-Anne near Quebec City Dec 26th-30th: a tradition in its 4th year! Reserve rooms by September 26th.
THE SKIING EXPERIENCE:
This will be our 4th winter continuing the Mont-Ste-Anne tradition.
What started out with just a few families has grown to 19 families, and we have seen that it gives the kids
a nice early-season foundation—and families a whole lot of fun!!
Each day we will have gathering times for folks who want to ski in Ford Sayre groups, led by parents/coaches. This is completely optional, but as many of us parents have noticed, kids seem to ski w/ fewer complaints when in kid groups! There are 5 warming huts on the trail system so it is extra fun to ski in packs and take snack breaks together.
It can be cold, but the extensive trail system cannot be beat, and Quebec City is only 30 minutes away!
RESERVE by Sept 26th! (Reserving after will work, too, if rooms are available, but the hotel needs a chunk of money from us by 9/26 to hold the block.)

MONT-STE-ANNE SKI AREA & proximity to our hotel:
There is no lodging right at the XC trails except for one big lodge that many people would need to co-rent. Chåteau Mte-Ste-Anne is at the alpine mountain, and you can ski to the XC lodge from there, but it’s 7K, so what most families do is drive to the XC lodge in the morning w/ lunches packed, and then individual family members ski back to the hotel at the end of the day if they so desire.
FOOD: Here is what most families do, making use of the grocery stores that are only a few minutes away from the hotel.
Breakfast in hotel rooms. (Many enjoy the bakery in the hotel lobby.)
Lunch in ski lodge: families pack lunches and eat among friends. Food is also sold at the lodge.
Dinner plans vary: families go out to restaurants; they cook in hotel rooms; and they bring food down to the conference room we have reserved in order to eat among other families. (We have reserved that conference room again this year for each night.)
