This just in from Hilary…if you haven’t signed up to participate, please consider volunteering.

WHAT: The Memorial Challenge: an ultimate community circuit workout inspired by Torin Tucker and Blaine Steinberg. All funds raised are going directly to the Dartmouth Heart and Vascular Center to research athlete cardiac health. The goal is to bring everyone together to push themselves hard through a workout and unite for one common goal! Read more here: thememorialchallenge.com
WHEN/WHERE: Memorial Day Weekend, on Memorial Field(Dartmouth’s Football Field):  Saturday May 23rd (Check in starts at 9:45am, event at 11:00, music and food until 2)
HOW YOU CAN HELP: We are a completely student run event and thus need as much help as we can get on the day of. Below are some descriptions of the jobs we need!!

Challenge Team – younger people ideally – high school/college age – (2 ppl per station x 24 stations, 12 each side of the field): Demonstrating exercises to Challengers, circuit flow, station organization, reminding Challengers of target goals

Gameday Setup/Breakdown – any age: Challenge setup, tents/tables, stage, etc

Energy Team – any age (middle schools, Hanover High, students, coaches): Get loud and rowdy for Challengers to encourage them to reach their goals

Please reach out to Mary O’Connell – mary.e.oconnell.16@dartmouth.edu – a junior on the Dartmouth Varsity Nordic Team, for any questions or if you would like to participate! Thank you so much, and I look forward to seeing you out at Oak Hill next season 🙂
