Fall Session Add-On ($150)
Two dryland practices per week. Dryland training includes ski-specific workouts ranging from on-foot activities such as running, ski-walking, bounding, and plyometrics as well as strength training in the Ford Sayre Clubhouse weight room. There may also be opportunities to roller ski for those who have roller ski equipment (a limited number of Club roller skis are available for borrowing).
Requirements:
- Must hold a Basic Club Membership.
- All levels welcome (no prior experience needed).
Fall Session details
- Dates & Times*: Tuesdays and Thursdays from October 20 to December 17 (off Thanksgiving week)
- Tuesdays: 5:00 to 6:30 PM
- Thursdays: 12:00 to 1:30 PM
- Come to as many or as few workouts as you want. We don’t expect attendance at all sessions.
- Location: Oak Hill Outdoor Center
- New written training plan: A season-long written training plan designed by Ford Sayre coaching staff will be used as a guide to improve ski performance and conditioning over the season. The plan will also serve to motivate skiers to ski together to achieve individual and common team goals. For Club racers, the plan will facilitate working together towards achieving peak performance at the Craftsbury Marathon and the Jackson End-of-Season Loppet.
*The Fall Session may include, depending on interest, uncoached Wednesday (mid-day or evening) pole bounding sessions, and weekend roller ski sessions.
