Ford Sayre COVID-19 Protocols

Ford K. Sayre Memorial Ski Council, a New Hampshire based organization, has developed its COVID-19 Protocols based on the CDC’s Considerations for Youth Sports and New Hampshire’s guidance Stay At Home 2.0: Amateur and Youth Sports. In addition to the Ford Sayre COVID-19 Protocols, we expect all families to follow the guidance of their home state.

Ford Sayre will be providing limited in-person training opportunities in Vermont for Vermont athletes, at which all participants are expected to follow protocols from the Vermont Agency of Commerce and Community Development. Per guidance from the VT ACCD, VT athletes attending the SAU70 school district, are not required to quarantine if they travel to NH for Ford Sayre programming. Vermont guardians who drive from VT to NH for the sole purpose of transporting a child to and from their program would not need to quarantine upon return to VT if they made no other stops en route, did not enter the lodge or leave their car other than to help load and unload a child’s gear, and did not interact with anyone outside of their household during their travel. Please note that for all other VT families (who do not have children in SAU70), quarantine is required for travel outside of VT for non-essential reasons.

In an effort to ensure a safe and successful 2020-2021 season, Ford Sayre has developed COVID-19 protocols for athletes and coaches. Participation in Ford Sayre programming is contingent upon compliance with these guidelines.

The link below contains our current COVID-19 Athlete Protocol. Please check back regularly, as the protocol will likely change as the COVID-19 situation evolves and NH state guidance is revised.
