The
Ford Sayre Ski Council invites you to the annual Silver Fox Trot cross
country ski race on Saturday, February 28th. This Eastern Cup/JOQ race
will be held at Oak Hill, the home training ground for Ford Sayre and
Dartmouth nordic programs, and site of the Dartmouth carnival and the
2003 NCAA Championships. The trail system includes 20 km of groomed
trails just 2 miles north of the Dartmouth campus.

The Eastern Cup events being at 11:00 at Oak Hill. Registration and bib pick-up for the Eastern Cup races will be at the Bernice Ray School (Hanover's elementary school). See below for details/directions.

Events
9:30am BKL Races (Lollipoppers, J6, J5, J4, J3) at Garipay Field, freestyle, mass start by age groups.
11:00am J2 boys followed by J2 girls and women, 5km freestyle, individual starts, 15 second intervals.
12:30am J1 and up men, 10km freestyle, individual starts, 30 second intervals.
Podium
Ceremony: Awards ceremony for the top 3 finishers will be announced 30
minutes after the conclusion of each race. This includes J2 Boys, J2
Girls, Men, and Women.
Registration
EC/JOQ registration:
$30 NENSA member, $40 non-members. Registration deadline Thursday,
2/18. Register on-line at www.nensa.net or mail to Silver Fox Trot, PO Box 172, Norwich, VT 05055. Check
payable to Ford Sayre Ski Council.
Day of Race registration: add $10 late fee. DOR registration opens at 8:30 am and closes 30 minutes prior to start of each race.
Registration and bib pick-up for EC/JOQ: at Ray School, Reservoir Rd., Hanover, NH. Bibs can be picked up beginning at 8:30 am.

Directions:
The EC/JOQ race site is at Oak Hill, about a 1/4 mile beyond the Bernice Ray
School, the Hanover elementary school, located on Reservoir Road, about

Parking:
Parking will be at the Ray School and Garipay Field. Skiers can take
shuttle van from the school where bib pick-up and registration will be
held, or ski to the stadium at Oak Hill. It is about a 1km ski to the
stadium.
Team Vehicles:
Coaches with team vehicles can pick-up a parking permit at registration
and will be allowed to park their team vans and busses at the Oak Hill
lot. Parking at Oak Hill is limited and will be reserved for team vans
only.
Wax Tents/electricity:
Team wax tents may be set up at the top of the entrance to the stadium.
Limited electricity will be available for waxing needs in this area.
Course:
The course will be the 5km Pond Loop at Oak Hill. If conditions are
thin at Oak Hill the Eastern Cup races will be held at Garipay fields. Click here for a course map.
Silver Fox Cafe: Enjoy coffee, snacks, chili, and other treats from the concession tent in the stadium.
