Freestyle and Freeski
News - Jan. 1, 2008
Happy New Year Freestyle Families!!! Hope you have been able to enjoy all this snow we have been getting. I haven't seen this in a long time.
Freestyle classes begin this week. We will meet outside in front of the lodge near the terrain park at 3:30pm and usually take a warm up run immediately. It is helpful for the kids to be prepared and ready for class. So if you are running late wait for us at the bottom. I will be wearing black ski pants, red coat and black ski helmet.
If you haven't gotten your child's pass yet you should get there early to do so. Remember, helmets are required, and kids need to have enough winter wear to be dry, warm and shield against frost bite. Also, it is helpful to know in advance if your child will not be attending a class.
Get ready for a fun season!

Program Information
Freestyle/freeski is fun, exciting and challenging; geared for intermediate and developed skiers who can ski all terrain at the Skiway comfortably and confidently ("E" level or better). Freestyle/Freeski consists of Moguls, Big Air, Slopestyle, Half pipe and Outback style skiing. Twin tips are preferred and helmets are required.
One of our goals is to teach students how to tackle all the different elements of Freestyle and Freeski progressively, confidently and safely. We will work within, yet challenge each student's capability and to help them become more developed and diversified skiers.
