The Silver Fox Trot race is held on the trail system of the Dartmouth Cross Country Ski Center, 2 miles north of Dartmouth College and downtown Hanover on Rt. 10 (click here for driving directions).
Eastern Cup
The Eastern Cup race will be held at Oak Hill, on the 5 km “Pond Loop", shown in blue on the map on the right. This course begins and ends in the Stadium area used by the Dartmouth Carnival. This is also the same course for the 5 km and 10 km freestyle races of 2003 NCAA’s. After quickly dropping out of the stadium, the course rolls through varied terrain, includes some good climbs, has some wild S-curves just 800 meters from the finish, and then brings you back into the stadium. J2 skiers and women will complete one loop for a total of 5 km, the J1 boys and men will complete two loops for a 10 km race.

In the event snow is too thin at Oak Hill to hold an Eastern Cup race, the Silver Fox Trot will be held at nearby Garipay Field on a 5 km loop. Click here for a map of the terrain.
