BKL Silver Fox Trot - Saturday, Feb. 23rd

For 2008, the BKL Silver Fox Trot will be held on Garipay Field in Hanover,

featuring smooth-skating courses, great spectating & a big raffle!

Join the fun, as the Eastern Cup/Jr. Olympic Qualifier races roll into town for the penultimate race.

    Race details:

    • Technique: freestyle (skate) with tracks on the side for the J6 loop only.
    • Lollipoppers start time: 0930 am - sharp!
    • Mass/wave starts follow, by gender (girls first) and class (J6, J5, J4, J3 and J2/8th)
    • Course lengths appropriate to class (0.9 to 4.2 km).
    • On-site registration begins at 8:30 am; $5 entry fee for NENSA members (Lollipoppers free), $10 non-members. Bring waiver and pick bibs up at the tent.
    • PLEASE pre-register (name, club, DOB, NENSA number): doug (dot) hardy (at) valley.net, and arrive with a completed NENSA waiver form - available here. If you do not pre-register, please arrive with a completed and signed NENSA entry form - available here.
    • Venue: groomed ski trails of Garipay Field (part of Dartmouth Cross Country Center) in Hanover, NH
    • Driving directions: click here for a map; Garipay Field is on the North side of Hanover, at the corner of Rt. 10 (Lyme Road) and Reservoir Road. (Exit 13 off I-91; head east across the Connecticut River and up into Hanover, continue straight (West Wheelock Rd.) past the green to North Park St. (route 120) and turn right onto Lyme Rd.)
    • Ribbons (1st through 5th places plus Participant) and a commemorative water bottle for the first 75 skiers to pick up their bibs.
    • PRIZES will be raffled by bib number, after the awards. Local merchants have provided some really nice prizes for 2008!
