Bogburn
Bogburn is a great, once-per-year nordic race held (for the past 20+ years!) at the Pomfret home of the Bob Haydock family.

Race details:
- For BKL'ers, this is a family-oriented, low-key race.
- 4, 3 & 2 km for BKL III, IV, V and 50 m for Lollipop. In the afternoon, the course will be used for adult, J1, J2 and OJ class races.
- Start times: 9:45 am Lollipop. 10 am BKL
- BKL awards at 11:30 am featuring nice VOmax clothing prizes, metals to top 3 and ribbons for all BKL entries!
- Entry fee $8 for BKL II, IV, V; Lollipop free. DOR - $5 late fee.
- Register using NENSA form by sending payment to Robert Haydock, 384 Strawberry Hill Rd., Concord, MA 01742.
Driving directions to Bogburn:
- From Sharon exit (#2) off of I-89, go south towards the river and (the former) Brooksies Restaurant.
- Take right at T onto Rte. 14.
- After 1/4 mile, take left onto metal bridge, go right on the other side.
- Take first left on Howe Hill Rd. (1/4 mile) up a hill and under a railroad bridge.
- Go for several miles (4.3) up and over the top of the hill (don't be fooled by the first down hill, you are not at the top yet).
- At the bottom of the hill after a farm on the left with an 8 foot stone wall take a right onto a dirt road (after 2.0 miles).
- Continue up the dirt road and take your first left up a hill (Skyline Drive, after ~2 miles).
- Follow this road 1/2 mile to the Haydock's (white house with red roof).
