Hard to believe this is the last Wednesday of the season. As usual, Mother Nature has chosen a Wednesday to provide us with more rain. If school is canceled, we will not have skiing and will reschedule for the following Wednesday. If there is a 2-hour delay, or school is on, we will have skiing. Thanks for a great season and we hope to see you on the slopes!

Happy New Year! First day of skiing this year is Wednesday, January 9th. You will be hearing from your child’s instructor between January 6-8th regarding class assignments. Snow was bountiful in December and we are all looking forward to a safe and fun year at the Skiway. Please remember to dress your child warmly. Even on a warm day when the sun starts to go down at the end of the day, it can get quite chilly. You can always put a neck warmer in your pocket if you are too warm.

Program Information
The Ford Sayre Alpine Recreation Program offers children the opportunity to discover the excitement of downhill skiing and Telemark skiing** in a fun, safe environment. We welcome skiers in kindergarten* and up at any ability. Our small class sizes enable skiers to progress quickly, ensuring a sense of accomplishment and maximum enjoyment!
Parents, Students, Community members: We need instructors and support staff at all skiing levels. Experience is not necessary. Volunteers are professionally taught to instruct and receive free weekly lessons at the Dartmouth Skiway.
Registrations received after October 28 will be subject to a $15 late fee. Registrations can not be accepted after November 30.

* Kindergarten Program: There are limited spaces, cost is $160, and one parent must volunteer with the program.
** Telemark Class: Space is limited, Cost: $115 (Program, Skiway & Ins. Fees), must be at least an “E” level skier.
*** Please let us know if you have a 2007/2008 Dartmouth Skiway season pass. The $60 Skiway fee will be waived.
