Race Schedules and Results: VARA and NHARA
Program Information
The Junior Program is open to all skiers ages 8-14. No previous racing experience is required; however, participants must be able to comfortably ski all types of terrain. Racers train together and grow to be a supportive team. Parent volunteers are required at certain home races throughout the season; a security deposit of $225 for this race obligation is required. Registrations received after October 24 will be subject to a $25 late fee.
| Fall Conditioning: | All J3, J4, J5: Sundays beginning Nov 4
J3’s & 2nd yr J4’s: Weekdays (T/W/Th) begins Nov 6: 3:30 – 5 pm |
| On-Snow Training: | Weekdays (T/W/Th) at Whaleback. 4:30 - 6:30 pm |
| Program Fee: | $425 for J5 |
| Insurance Surcharge: | $50 Program Fee and Insurance Surcharge due at registration. |
| USSA Membership: | $60 for J4 & J5 $125 for J3 |
| NHARA Membership: | $20 (all) |
| Whaleback Training Fee: | $20 (all) |
| Seasons Pass: | Various rate structures at both our training mountains. Each athlete is responsible for their own season pass or daily lift tickets. |
